First Post

Ok ... this really isn't my first post. It's my third; however the first post was just a test to see how things were working, and the second post was absolute shit so I deleted it. hmmm ... well I guess maybe I should say why I switched to this thing instead of keeping with my Xanga:

ok well originally I had a livejournal. I started getting pissed off with all the bullshit annonymous posters there, so I just abandoned that account. Then I switched to the xanga, which I still like, however the blogger gives me a bit more freedom. The actual "blogger" site is really only a server from which this journal is hosted. I mean it's a free service, so they're still basically in charge; though I have pretty much free reign over the way I set this thing up. There's something called a "templete" that contains the code that makes up what you see here. I still don't understand the vast majority of it ... I mean it's not like I could code my own tempete; however I can edit the templete I chose from the site. Things such as chaning the color of the site, the header and little description. I can add a way for ANYONE (not just those registered with blogger) to comment on my posts, and I can even add in a tagboard. Another thing I can do is put in multiple colors in my posts, though I'm still not quite sure how to do it yet. I need to go look up the color names (fancy ones) and the code for them. It's all really ultra spiffy. :-D
